1) COMPETITION PERIOD: SKECHERS UK Standard Valentines Giveaway (the “Competition”) starts Wednesday 14th February 2024 at 12:00pm BST and ends Sunday 18th February at 8pm BST (the “Competition Period”).

2) ELIGIBILITY:  TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN, YOU MUST BE A LEGAL RESIDENT OF GREAT BRITAIN AND AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ON DATE OF ENTRY.  CONTEST IS VALID FOR RESIDENTS OF GREAT BRITAIN, EXCEPT WHERE RESTRICTED BY LAW.  THE COMPETITION DOES NOT APPLY IN NORTHERN IRELAND.  The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Competition:  (a) officers, directors, employees and representatives of Skechers USA Limited (the “Promoter”) or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies; (b) persons engaged in, and persons associated with companies engaged in, the development, production, promotion, advertising or running of this Competition(collectively, the “Promotion Parties”); and (c) each of the foregoing persons’ immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each), as well as persons living in the same household (whether related or not).  Any eligible minor must have his or her parent’s or legal guardian’s written consent to enter this Competition.  The Promoter may ask the winner to provide proof of age.

 Entrants are entitled to enter this contest multiple times from the same account. Odds of winning depend on how many entries submitted.

Any individual who, in the sole discretion of the Promoter, is suspected of submitting more than the allowed number of entries, by any means, including, but not limited to, establishing multiple Instagram profiles or e-mail accounts, may be disqualified from participation in this Competition.  The name of the person submitting the Competition entry must be the authorized account holder of such Instagram profile and/or e-mail address, otherwise, entry may be deemed void.  In the event of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, the entry will be decided upon by confirming the authorized account holder of the Instagram profile or e-mail address which submitted the winning entry at the time of entry, and the potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder.  It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Promoter in writing if the entrant changes his or her Instagram profile, e-mail address or postal address during the Competition Period.

Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of receipt of entry.  All entries become the sole property of the Promoter upon receipt.  Each entry submission must be manually key stroked and manually entered by the individual entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including, but not limited to, entries made using any script, macro, bot or competition service) will be disqualified and transmissions from these or related Instagram profiles, e-mail or IP addresses may be blocked.

 All entries submitted or received after the Competition Period are automatically disqualified.

4) PRIZES:

• Ten (10) winners will be selected at random to each receive one (1) Skechers gift code for one (1) free pair of shoes up to the value of £80.00 (eighty Great British Pounds) to use on www.skechers.co.uk  Exclusions may apply. No credit issued in return for voucher code.  The prize is not negotiable or transferrable.  The Promoter reserves the right to replace a prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.

5) RANDOM DRAWING FOR PRIZES/DEADLINE DATES:  The Prize will be awarded by a random drawing conducted by the Promoter.  Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.  Entries submitted are only eligible for this Competition.  By entering this Competition, all participants agree that all decisions made by the Promoter regarding matters relating to the Competition winners are final.  No correspondence or discussion will be entered into.  Results of the prize drawing will be announced in the comments section of the Promoter’s Instagram account @Skechers_uk.  If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter via an e-mail with subject line: SKECHERS UK Standard Valentines Giveaway to [email protected].  In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.

6) WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE FULFILLMENT: The potential winners will be notified via Instagram comment on 19th February 2024. Any winner who does not respond to notification attempts within five (5) business days will result in prize forfeiture and an alternate winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.  Any winner notification returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address will result in prize forfeiture and an alternate winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.  Certain terms and conditions may apply to gift cards or online codes, see gift card or e-mail delivering online code for details. Insofar as it permitted by law, the Promoter, its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliated companies will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the prize winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or affiliated companies, or that of their officers, directors or employees.  Your statutory rights are not affected.

7) GENERAL:  Except as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion, no substitution of prize is available, nor is any transfer of prize to a third party permitted.  All tax liabilities arising from this Competition are the sole responsibility of each respective prize winner.  Prizes are not redeemable for cash.

12) DISPUTES:  THE COMPETITION AND THESE OFFICIAL RULES ARE GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, ENGLISH LAW.  THE PROMOTER AND ALL ENTRANTS SUBMIT TO THE NON-EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE COURTS OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
